Mass Campus Cleaning - Plastic-Free Zone

On 25th June 2025, the Government Arts College (Autonomous), Karur – 639005, witnessed a remarkable act of service and environmental awareness.

Under the guidance of the National Service Scheme (NSS), enthusiastic volunteers came together for a Mass Campus Cleaning Drive, transforming the college premises into a Plastic-Free Zone.

Armed with gloves, brooms, and a strong sense of responsibility, students spread across the campus to collect waste, segregate plastics, and promote cleanliness. The initiative reflected the true spirit of NSS — “Not Me, But You” — inspiring everyone to take part in protecting our environment.

By the end of the day, the campus shone cleaner and greener, echoing the commitment of students to create a sustainable and eco-friendly learning space.
