About the Department
Our Department of Botany is one of the pioneer Department of this college established in 1967 with undergraduate course in Botany. Now, it is full fledged with well qualified 11 permanent faculties running research activities including, guiding M.Phil, Ph.D and conducting major and minor projects funded by UGC, TNSCST, TANSCHE, etc.
The Department has well qualified and experienced faculty members with good research accomplishment .
